Monster Cleansing Solvent product overview

When you’re like most home theatre fanatics and multimedia users, you want the absolute best efficiency from your equipment. But with regards to cleansing your TVs, camcorders, digital camera lenses, excessive definition monitors, and different video shows, you may very well be damaging your tools and harming efficiency - particularly for those who use an ordinary window cleaner.

Whereas these cleaners can remove most dirt and fingerprints, they often go away distracting streaks - and even permanent scratches. Window cleaners may drip all the way down a screen and into your components’s moisture-sensitive electronics before you may wipe it off. This can cause costly harm, and even total unit failure.

I tried Monster Cleaning Solvent on my 50" plasma and initially it appeared to work fairly nicely, but as I seemed carefully at a reflection within the plasma glass I saw streaks! So, I got a flashlight and looked over all the display and sure sufficient, there were streaks all over. Now I'm not one to just slap some cleaner on and a couple of swipes and I am done. I meticulously polish the screen. I started over doing a really small section, applying cleaner to cloth, spreading on show, turning cloth to dry area, polish, polish polish - still streaks. Mind you I'm doing this with a flashlight in hand, so each little flaw is visible. I found that the only method to stop streaks is to continue working the damp fabric on the screen till it much less damp, then flip to the dry space for polishing. Which brings me to a different problem .

After doing the above, I noticed actually hundreds of little fibers on the display, with some seemingly stuck to the display to the place I needed to rub tougher than I would like to get them off. Even still once I did that there were more fibers. Once more, did this with a flashlight.

Lastly, After getting every part seemingly good to go, I did a follow up inspection the day after I cleaned the screen with this Monster Cleaning product and seen what seemed to be a delicate movie on the glass. I took a fabric and wiped it off easily, but darn if it didn't come again in a brief while. It appeared like some kind of delicate condensation. Once more this was with a flashlight in hand.

In any case of this, I went back to my old Mirachem Optix cleaner and a true microfiber cloth (the tighter weave sort that's used for lens cleansing). I did one half of the display solely and left the opposite facet because it was from the Monster cleaner. After a number of hours I went to inspect it once once more and there was the haze on the Monster aspect, but the facet I sued my old cleaner on was clear. When I say haze, it's not noticeable without the flashlight, so most folk wouldn't see it, however with a flashlight it is obvious, particularly on the black band around the actual viewing area.

I have not tried this Monster Clean product on my LCDs and it might work nice on the plastic floor, versus the glass of the plasma. For me, it is simply not value it. Get a good flashlight and verify for your self ...or do not and you may by no means know that it is not perfect.
